Munich’s main train station, Hauptbahnhof, is close to Theresienwiese, and walking is a realistic option if you are traveling light and the weather cooperates. The general direction is south from the station toward the fairground.

Entrances and parking: disabled parking spaces are available on the southern part of the grounds via the Hans-Fischer-Straße entrance, for visitors with a blue parking permit.

Tents: all large tents provide barrier-free entrances and are required to reserve wheelchair spaces, at least 20 inside the tent and 20 in the beer garden for most large tents, with a smaller quota at Käfer Wiesn-Schänke and Kufflers Weinzelt. These spaces are held without reservation until 5 p.m. on weekdays and 2 p.m. on weekends and the October 3 holiday; after that, a reservation is recommended. Small tents also reserve a wheelchair allocation.

Toilets: all large tents have accessible WCs, along with six further public accessible toilets across the grounds, including at the Service Center, near the main entrance, and on the Oide Wiesn grounds. These use the standard EURO key lock.

Wheelchair rental: two wheelchairs are available free of charge at the luggage storage points near the Hans-Fischer-Straße entrance and the main entrance, against a photo ID deposit.

The Bavaria statue and the Ruhmeshalle (Hall of Fame) mark the western edge of the festival grounds, on raised ground overlooking Theresienwiese. Main Entrance

The main entrance sits on the side of the grounds closest to Hackerbrücke, roughly a 10-minute walk from that S-Bahn station. It is one of the primary access points into the main festival area.
