They can charge their phones, receive help filing a police report, get counseling in several languages, and even receive taxi vouchers to help them reach home safely. Last year, the safe space helped more than 300 women and girls.

The safe space is located at the Service Center and is open every day from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM. On Fridays, Saturdays, and October 2 and 3, it opens earlier at 3:00 PM.

SafeNow App at Oktoberfest

The SafeNow app is another safety option available at Oktoberfest. According to the information provided, the app can be used in two tents: Schottenhamel and Armbrustschützenzelt.

If someone feels unsafe, the app allows them to quickly activate an alarm to emergency services, friends, and family. This provides another way for festival visitors to seek assistance when they find themselves in an uncomfortable or unsafe situation.
